Updated 17 October 2026. Wi-Fi prices are typical 2026 rates. Type your ship in the GigSky app before you pay.
AIDA Wi-Fi. AIDA does not put full internet in the fare. In 2026 a seven-day Social pack has been about €35, Internet Flat about €70, and Premium about €140 for one person. Day rates move, and myAIDA is cheaper than buying on the ship. Check your sailing. A cruise eSIM is one phone for sea days and the ports.
AIDA’s app chat is not the internet. Onboard Chat only talks to people on the ship. Social Media Flat is WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook, without a proper video call. Internet Flat is mail and the normal web. Premium is the one for video meetings, and it can take two devices at once. Family Flat covers up to four people on the same booking.
AIDA does not print one price for every cruise. In autumn 2026, a seven-day Social pack was quoted at about €35, Internet Flat at about €70, and Premium at about €140. That is about €5, €10, and €20 a day. Other 2026 price lists show onboard day rates nearer €5, €10, and €15, with myAIDA lower still, sometimes half if you book early. Open myAIDA. The number on your cruise is the one that counts.
Buying before you sail is the discount. Reports put that saving at up to about 25%. The ship’s daily programme still works without a pack. The real web does not.
Which AIDA pack, if you buy one
If you only message family, Social can be enough, and you can share one login by taking turns. If you need maps, mail, and a normal page, that is Internet Flat. If you will work, that is Premium.
Two people on Premium for a week is about €280 at the €140 rate. One GigSky phone is one checkout. It still will not stream a film for the whole cabin.
Med, Canaries, and the North
Most AIDA weeks are the Mediterranean, the Canaries, or northern Europe. That is Cruise & Europe. A Caribbean AIDA week wants Cruise & Americas. Type AIDAnova, AIDAcosma, AIDAprima, or the name on the ticket.
This is AIDA Cruises, not Costa and not Carnival. If the ticket says Costa, use the Costa page.
When ship Wi-Fi still wins
Buy Premium if you must work on the ship, or Internet Flat if you want the web in the cabin on more than a phone. Buy ahead. The onboard rate is the expensive one.
When the AIDA eSIM wins
You want WhatsApp on a sea day and maps in a port, on one phone, without an AIDA day rate. That is the AIDA eSIM. Code ESIMDUDE is 10% off GigSky. It does not discount myAIDA packs.
