Updated 17 October 2026. Wi-Fi prices are typical 2026 rates. Type your ship in the GigSky app before you pay.
Holland America Wi-Fi. Have It All includes Surf for one device. Premium is $26 a day and Stream is $38 a day on a 7-day package. Those figures are Holland America’s, for the length of the trip. A GigSky cruise eSIM is one phone, about $63 after code ESIMDUDE, for WhatsApp and maps ashore. It will not play cabin movies.
Holland America is the line where the fare can already include Wi-Fi. Have It All puts Surf on one device for each guest. That is web, email, news, and messaging apps. Audio and video calls are not in Surf. Netflix is not in Surf.
Premium is the step up. Holland America lists it at $26 a day on a 7-day package. You get video calling and file transfer. You still do not get streaming or gaming. Stream is $38 a day on that same 7-day package. That is the one for Netflix, Disney+, and the rest. Longer trips can cost less per day. You cannot buy a one-day pass before you sail.
A Holland America eSIM is not those packs. GigSky stays up after the horn, then switches to a local tower when you walk off in Juneau, Skagway, or Nassau. Search the ship by the name on your boarding pass. Rotterdam is not “all Holland America.”
Surf, Premium, and Stream
Surf is the basic pack. It comes with Have It All, one device each. Use it for mail and text apps on the ship. If you already paid for Have It All, do not buy Surf again.
Premium is $26 a day when you buy the whole 7-day package. Stream is $38 a day on that package. Two people on Stream for a week is about $532. Buy the whole cruise ahead if you want the lower rate. A single day, bought on the ship, costs more.
Alaska, the Caribbean, and Europe
Most Holland America weeks people ask about are Alaska or the Caribbean. That is Cruise & Americas in GigSky. A Mediterranean or Northern Europe sailing wants Cruise & Europe. The ship still has to be on GigSky’s list.
Juneau, Ketchikan, and Skagway are why the phone plan helps. Surf works in the cabin. It does not follow you up the dock. The same GigSky plan is the one in your pocket on a sea day and on the pier.
Which ships to type in
Start with the Pinnacle and Koningsdam-class names: Rotterdam, Nieuw Statendam, Koningsdam. Then Eurodam, Nieuw Amsterdam, Westerdam, Zuiderdam, Noordam, Oosterdam. If the app does not return your ship, stop. Do not buy from a photo of a different ship.
Princess is a different line with a different Wi-Fi name, MedallionNet. If your ticket says Princess, use the Princess page, not this one.
When ship Wi-Fi still wins
Buy Stream if the cabin will watch films all week. Premium if you need video calls on the ship and you do not already have a phone plan that works at sea. Have It All guests can stay on Surf for mail.
When the Holland America eSIM wins
You want WhatsApp on a sea day and maps when you step off in Juneau, without a second Wi-Fi bill. Or you did not buy Have It All and you do not want $26 to $38 a day. That is the Holland America eSIM. Code ESIMDUDE is 10% off GigSky, not off Holland America’s own packs.
