Use the pack at sea, not for maps in every port. Photos and a film will finish 400MB before dinner. If you want one phone for WhatsApp all week and for the pier, that job is a cruise eSIM. It will not stream a film for the cabin. The number on your sailing is the one that counts. These prices move.
Which pot, if you buy one
Texts home, and you will be careful with photos: 400MB can be enough. Social and light pages: 2GB. A week of browsing, with some pictures: 4.5GB or 8.5GB. Do not buy the £20 pot and then make a video call.
