Havila puts free Wi-Fi on the cabin list. You should not be sold a day pass. The trip is the Norwegian coast, Bergen and north, the same water as Hurtigruten and not the same company. If your ticket says Havila, ignore the 1893 club. That club is the other line.
Free does not mean a film. These are coastal ships in remote water. Mail and a page are the realistic job. If the cabin is dead, go up. A lounge with a window is often better than a lower room.
The Wi-Fi ends on the quay. In a small port you still want your own phone for a map. A normal travel eSIM dies once you are well offshore. A cruise plan is the one that can do both, if GigSky lists the ship.
