Fly-Fi is free for everyone. You do not need TrueBlue. You do not need T-Mobile. Watch the short advert and you are on. I join Fly-Fi as soon as the seatbelt sign beeps.
2026 cabin fare
$0 for everyone
Fly-Fi. No club. No T-Mobile. The cost is a short partner advert. Coverage is the USA, plus a lot of the Caribbean on the newer planes.
Updated 21 September 2026
JetBlue has Wi-Fi on every JetBlue plane. It is called Fly-Fi, and it is free for everyone on board. You do not need Mosaic. You do not need TrueBlue. You do not need T-Mobile. Sit down, join Fly-Fi, watch a short advert, and you are on.
There is no T-Mobile button on this plane. This page covers how to connect, which flights drop over the sea, and what to do if you are flying to a cruise. The plane Wi-Fi stops when you land. The ship starts a new bill.
Is JetBlue Wi-Fi free in 2026?
Yes. It has been for years, and it still is. Fly-Fi is the name. Every passenger on a JetBlue-operated flight. You do not join a club first. You do not tap a card. You do not flash a status. Guest is enough. TrueBlue is optional, and I still put the number on the booking because fares, not because the internet needs it.
This is the last big U.S. carrier that just gives it to the whole cabin without a homework assignment. Delta wants SkyMiles. Southwest wants Rapid Rewards. American wants AAdvantage. JetBlue wants you to sit through fifteen seconds of a partner ad. I can live with that.
If the Wi-Fi page asks you to pay, you joined the wrong network. Forget it. Join Fly-Fi again. Type flyfi.com by hand. Do not buy a pass that this airline does not sell.
TrueBlue is optional. T-Mobile is irrelevant. The club for this internet is the seat.
You do not need T-Mobile
This is the question that fills the JFK T5 hallway. T-Mobile puts its name on inflight Wi-Fi on other airlines. On JetBlue, Fly-Fi is already free for the row. A T-Mobile phone does not unlock a faster Wi-Fi. It does not skip the ad. It does not keep WhatsApp alive over the Bahamas when the satellite goes shy. I have watched people skip the Wi-Fi page because they “don’t have T-Mobile.” Don’t be that person. Join Fly-Fi. Watch the ad. Get on with your life.
If you fly a mix of JetBlue and Southwest, keep the stories straight. Southwest: join Rapid Rewards, T-Mobile is the sponsor, you still don’t need their plan. JetBlue: there is no sponsor login. The cabin is the perk.
How much is JetBlue Wi-Fi?
Zero. There is no $8. There is no $10 older 777. There is no monthly. The cost is an ad, and if you close the tab too early the Wi-Fi page makes you watch it again. I have done that, twice, because I am impatient and the universe is petty.

Cabin Wi-Fi on JetBlue is the cheap part of the trip. The ship is where people get robbed. That’s why the last row is on this page.
How to connect to JetBlue Wi-Fi
The network is Fly-Fi, sometimes FlyFi.com. No password. The Wi-Fi page is flyfi.com. People type that address 33,000 times a month because they are already in the seat and the captive page did not pop. Type it. Do not go hunting for a cabin password. There isn’t one.
1Airplane mode on. Then turn Wi-Fi back on. Leave cellular off — it fights the Wi-Fi page.
2Join Fly-Fi. If you see FlyFi.com as the name, that’s the same Wi-Fi. Pick the one without a lock.
3Open a browser. The Wi-Fi page usually pops. If it doesn’t, type flyfi.com. Not jetblue.com.
4Guest is enough. TrueBlue if you want. Accept the terms. Watch the partner ad all the way through.
5Close the tab too early and you get to watch it again. I have done this. Don’t be me.
Seatback movies and live TV are a different product. The open internet — WhatsApp, mail, Maps, your actual life — is Fly-Fi. You can watch a movie on the screen in the seatback and still have no WhatsApp if you never finished the ad.
Airplane mode. Wi-Fi on. Fly-Fi. flyfi.com. Watch the ad. Then you’re on.
The Wi-Fi page never appears
Happens every week. Turn off the VPN. Turn off iCloud Private Relay. Turn off “limit IP address tracking” for a minute. Those three things are why flyfi.com never appears on a perfectly good phone. Forget the network, toggle Wi-Fi, type the address by hand. If a laptop keeps bouncing you to the ground site, use the phone instead, or open a private window.
Apple especially: join Fly-Fi, then open Safari, not Chrome, the first time. Auto-Join on. If you skip the ad at 0:12 of 0:15, you are not connected. The Wi-Fi page is not being cute. It is counting.
What actually works
Over the USA, Fly-Fi is the one I trust to stream. WhatsApp fires before the beverage cart on a JFK–FLL A321. Slack is fine. Netflix usually holds. I have taken a work call on this airline that I would not have attempted on an old Southwest 700. I still would not bet a client presentation on it over the Bahamas.
They will throttle you if you use too much data. A little banner about “temporarily reduced speeds” is the cabin telling you to close the six Chrome tabs and the App Store update you started at 10,000 feet. Close the junk. The rest of the row would like to load Maps too.

Same Wi-Fi, same gap over the sea
Over the sea is a different internet
All JetBlue-operated flights cover the the USA The restyled A320s, A321neos and A220s push that coverage over a lot of the Caribbean and Central America — the San Juan, Cancún, Montego Bay, Punta Cana hops that feed the ships. The A321LR will hold to London. The older planes can go quiet the minute you leave the USA. Alaska, Ecuador, Peru legs are the ones I still treat as a maybe.
Last-minute swaps are normal. JFK–SJU was a restyled A321 when I booked and a different A321 when I boarded. Both had Fly-Fi over Florida. One of them got shy south of the islands. Trust the empty tab more than the booking. If the work call cannot fail, download the deck.
Streaming over the USA is why people love this airline. Over the sea, download the file.
Amazon Leo is 2027, not this year
Next generation Fly-Fi is Amazon Leo, the thing that used to be called Kuiper. Installs start 2027. Lower lag, better streaming, the brochure version of the cabin you already like. That is not your boarding pass today. Today you are on the Viasat Fly-Fi you have had for years. Do not sit in T5 waiting for a Leo A220. It is not here yet. When it is, the app will make a noise. Until then, watch the ad.
JetBlue Wi-Fi not working
Start with the boring fixes. They work more often than a flight attendant reset.
Airplane mode on, then Wi-Fi. Mobile data confuses the Wi-Fi page.
Type flyfi.com yourself. A laptop that auto-opens jetblue.com will never finish.
Private window. Chrome and Edge love to skip the Wi-Fi page.
VPN off. Private Relay off. Ad blockers off for a minute — you need the ad to complete.
Watch the whole ad. Skipping is how you loop.
Forget the network, toggle Wi-Fi. Auto-Join on, on iPhones.
If the banner says your speeds were reduced, close the junk tabs and the App Store.
If none of that works over the sea, it is not you. You left the coverage line. Read a book until Florida comes back. If it still spins over Pennsylvania, wait until 10,000 feet. The Wi-Fi needs the sky.
Two flights, still free
JFK to Fort Lauderdale to a cruise is one flight. BOS–JFK–SJU is two. Fly-Fi is free on both. You will watch the ad twice. That is the whole loyalty program. There is no “I already paid on the first leg” because you never paid. Connect again after the layover. The Wi-Fi page does not remember you from Logan.
Mexico, the Caribbean, London
Domestic hops are the reliable ones. Over the sea, the internet can pause. Flights to San Juan, Cancún, Montego Bay, Punta Cana, Barbados — the ones that feed the ships — often stay up on the restyled Airbus metal. They can still flake in the middle of the water on a bad day. London on the A321LR is the long-haul exception that actually holds. If the flight is the entertainment, download before you leave T5 anyway.
When you land in Fort Lauderdale or San Juan, cabin Wi-Fi is over. U.S. roaming on the home SIM is how people come home to a $400 text. That’s a regular travel eSIM job if you are staying in town. If the next vehicle is a ship, keep reading.
Inflight entertainment is not the internet
People search Fly-Fi and “JetBlue TV” in the same breath. Seatback screens, live TV, the Amazon library — that’s a different system. You can watch a movie and still have no WhatsApp. You can have WhatsApp and a dark seatback on a plane they have not updated. I use the phone for my life and the seatback for someone else’s sitcom. Do not confuse the two when you are packing an iPad for a seven-night cruise.
How it compares
This is still the only big U.S. carrier that just gives it to everyone, no club. Delta, Southwest, American hide it behind a free account. United has the Starlink planes. Alaska is a lucky dip with a new name on the login. Frontier is a flying USB stick with no internet. I put JetBlue at the top of the “I actually want WhatsApp” table and I do not pretend the others caught up on manners.

A lot of the people who type “JetBlue Wi-Fi” the night before a trip are not going to a meeting in Boston. They’re going JFK–FLL, BOS–MCO, EWR–SJU, JFK–CUN, BOS–PUJ, with a cruise boarding pass in the same wallet as the TrueBlue card. I have done that walk: T5, the FLL humidity, PortMiami or Port Everglades, a ship that will charge twenty to forty-nine dollars a device a day for Wi-Fi that dies again the minute you hit Nassau.
Cabin Wi-Fi on JetBlue is free on the hop that actually gets you to the port. Ship Wi-Fi is a monopoly. A family of four on Carnival Premium can clear $700 in a week. Disney streaming is $49 a device. Royal VOOM sits around $20–28 a device a day. The phone in your pocket does not need any of that if you put a cruise eSIM on it the night before — on hotel Wi-Fi, not in this cabin, because you might as well use Fly-Fi for email and save the eSIM for the water.
Do not buy an inflight eSIM for JetBlue. It will not attach, and you already have free internet. Our GigSky code ESIMDUDE does not apply to inflight packs anyway. Save the eSIM for the ship. Watch the ad for the hop. That is the plan.
The plane’s Wi-Fi dies at the jetway. The ship starts a new bill. Put the cruise eSIM on before you sail.
After you land · best overall
GigSky Cruise & Land
One eSIM for sea days and the ports. WhatsApp on the water, maps when you dock. After ESIMDUDE a 5 GB / 30-day plan is $62.99. Not cabin Wi-Fi. Not an inflight pack. The phone for the week the ship will try to charge you a fortune.
Cheaper per gigabyte at sea. Dead in port. Fine if you’ll buy a second plan for the islands. Most people will not, and then they’re mad on the pier. ESIMDUDE is 20% off Saily cruise.
Ship Wi-Fi still wins if the cabin will stream movies all week. That’s a different screen, a different bill. Keep it for the iPad in the inside cabin. Keep GigSky on the phone that leaves the ship. The JetBlue hop in between is free if you watched the ad. I have never once regretted Fly-Fi. I have regretted paying the ship because I was lazy the night before in a Long Island City hotel.
JetBlue Wi-Fi FAQ
Is Wi-Fi free on JetBlue?
Yes. Fly-Fi is free for everyone on a JetBlue plane. You do not need TrueBlue. You do not need T-Mobile. Watch the short advert, then you are on.
How do I connect to JetBlue Wi-Fi?
Turn on airplane mode, then turn Wi-Fi back on. Join Fly-Fi. Open a browser or type flyfi.com. Say yes to the terms. Watch the short advert. Guest is enough.
Do I need T-Mobile for free JetBlue Wi-Fi?
No. T-Mobile free Wi-Fi is for other airlines. On JetBlue, Fly-Fi is already free for the whole plane.
Do I need TrueBlue for JetBlue Wi-Fi?
No. Guest is enough. TrueBlue is useful for cheap fares. It is not the key to the Wi-Fi.
How much is JetBlue Wi-Fi?
Nothing. There is no pass to buy. You watch a short advert. If a page asks for a card, you joined the wrong Wi-Fi.
Does JetBlue have Starlink?
Not in 2026. The next Wi-Fi is Amazon Leo in 2027. Today you use Fly-Fi, the one JetBlue has had for years.
Does JetBlue Wi-Fi work on international flights?
Inside the USA, yes. Many newer planes also work over the Caribbean. The London plane often holds too. Some flights still drop over the sea. Download a film if you need it.
Should I buy a GigSky inflight eSIM for JetBlue?
No. The plane Wi-Fi is already free. Our GigSky code ESIMDUDE does not work on plane packs. Buy GigSky when you land for a cruise. The ship will charge $20–49 a day, and that Wi-Fi dies when you walk off.
Not affiliated with JetBlue, TrueBlue, Fly-Fi, T-Mobile, Viasat, or Amazon. Cabin internet is free Fly-Fi on JetBlue-operated flights; coverage varies by plane and route. Amazon Leo is 2027. We earn a commission if you buy a cruise eSIM through our links. The 10% from ESIMDUDE is yours either way.
