Cunard Wi-Fi. Cunard Essential is about $22 a day if you buy the whole voyage, or about $28 for a single day. Premium is about $30 a day for the voyage, or about $44 for a day. Those rates move. A GigSky cruise eSIM is one phone for sea days and the ports. It is not cabin Netflix.

Cunard calls the packs Essential and Premium. Essential is the web, email, and social posts. It does not stream films and it does not do a Zoom call. Premium is the faster one. That is where Netflix and video calls sit.

Buy the whole voyage if you know you will be online. Recent published rates put Essential at about $22 a day for the voyage and about $28 for a single day. Premium sits at about $30 a day for the voyage and about $44 for a day. Your sailing can differ. Open My Cunard and read the number on your booking.

The ship’s own app does not need a paid pack. Deck plans and the daily programme ride on the free ship Wi-Fi. Gold, Platinum, and Diamond members of the Cunard World Club often have internet included. If that is you, do not buy a second pack until you have checked.

Essential, Premium, and a day pass

Essential is enough for WhatsApp text, mail, and a normal page. It is the wrong pack if you plan to watch a film. Premium is the one for streaming and video calls, still one device at a time unless you buy a multi-device pack.

A seven-night Premium plan for two phones is about $420 at the voyage rate. One phone on Essential for a week is about $154. The day pass looks small until you buy it seven times.

Queen Mary 2, and the other Queens

Queen Mary 2 is the ship people mean when they say a crossing. Queen Anne, Queen Elizabeth, and Queen Victoria are the other names to type. A transatlantic week wants the GigSky World pack. A Mediterranean or Northern Europe week wants Cruise & Europe. Alaska or the Caribbean wants Cruise & Americas.

Search the exact Queen. If the GigSky box is empty, stop. Do not buy from a photo of a different ship. Maya is the backup, with a different code, ESIMTWEAKS10.

When ship Wi-Fi still wins

Buy Premium if the cabin will stream films on the ship’s Wi-Fi all week. Buy Essential only if mail and pages are enough and you will not miss video calls.

When the Cunard eSIM wins

You want one phone for WhatsApp at sea and maps when you step off in Southampton, New York, or a Med port. That is the Cunard eSIM. Code ESIMDUDE is 10% off GigSky. It does not discount Cunard’s own packs.

Cunard eSIM FAQ

How much is Cunard Wi-Fi?

About $22 a day for Essential and about $30 a day for Premium when you buy the whole voyage. A single day is higher, about $28 and $44. Prices change by sailing. Check My Cunard.

Is Cunard Wi-Fi free?

Not for most guests. The ship app works without a pack. Gold, Platinum, and Diamond World Club members often have internet included. Everyone else buys Essential or Premium.

Which GigSky plan for a Cunard transatlantic crossing?

The World pack. A Mediterranean Cunard week wants Cruise & Europe. Confirm the ship in the app before you pay.

What is the Cunard eSIM coupon?

ESIMDUDE. Ten percent off GigSky cruise and ferry plans. It does not take money off Cunard Essential or Premium.
