Updated 17 October 2026. Wi-Fi prices are typical 2026 rates. Type your ship in the GigSky app before you pay.
Fred Olsen Wi-Fi. Fred Olsen Wi-Fi is £12 for one day, £63 for seven days, and £120 for 14 days. One device. You can switch from phone to laptop. Mail, pages, social, and a video call are included. Films are not. Two people online together is two packs, so a week is £126. A cruise eSIM is the second phone, and the one you take ashore.
A day on Fred Olsen is £12. Five days is £50, so £10 a day. Seven days is £63, so £9 a day. Fourteen days is £120, so £8.50 a day. Longer than that, the rate drops toward £8 a day, and the exact pack depends on the cruise. Buy the length you will actually use. A stack of day passes is the expensive way.
The pack covers mail, WhatsApp, normal pages, and social. A video call is allowed. A film is not. If you were hoping to watch Netflix in the cabin, this pack will not do it. One pack is one device. Log out of the phone and into the laptop if you need to switch. Two people online at the same time means two packs.
The signal can dip in bad weather, or when you are a long way from land. It also stops at the gangway. In port you want maps on your own phone, not a second £12 day. That is the eSIM.
A week, a fortnight, or just tomorrow
If you will message most days, buy the week. £63 is less than seven days at £12. If you only need one sea day to tell people you arrived, buy the day and stop.
Two phones for seven days is £126. One GigSky phone is one checkout, and it still works when you walk off in port. It will not play a film for the cabin either.
Bolette, Borealis, Balmoral
Fred Olsen has three ships. Bolette, Borealis, and Balmoral. Type the one on the ticket. A Norway or Mediterranean week wants Cruise & Europe. A Caribbean week wants Cruise & Americas. A long world route wants the World pack.
This is Fred Olsen cruises, not a ferry. If GigSky does not list the ship, stop. Maya is the backup, code ESIMTWEAKS10.
When ship Wi-Fi still wins
Buy the Fred Olsen week if the cabin will browse and take a video call on one device. Buy the day only if you need a single sea day.
When the Fred Olsen eSIM wins
You want a second phone online, or maps the moment you leave the ship, without another £63. That is the Fred Olsen eSIM. Code ESIMDUDE is 10% off GigSky. It does not discount the ship pack.
