Updated 17 October 2026. Wi-Fi prices are typical 2026 rates. Type your ship in the GigSky app before you pay.
MSC Wi-Fi. MSC Stream is about $18–21 a day. That is the ship. A cruise eSIM is the phone in Barcelona, Rome, and on the sea day between them. Code ESIMDUDE is 10% off GigSky cruise plans.
If you’re on MSC in the Med, you’re in port more than you’re at sea. That’s when a land eSIM looks tempting. Then you have a sea day to Corsica and the bars vanish. GigSky Cruise & Europe is sea plus the country list. One install.
Caribbean MSC ships use Cruise & Americas. Same idea, different waters. Search World America and the rest in the app. MSC’s own Stream package is fine for a laptop. The cruise eSIM is for the phone in your pocket on the pier.
North Africa stops still need a check. If Tunis or a Moroccan call isn’t on the country list, you’ll know in the app before you pay.
MSC Stream vs an MSC cruise eSIM
Stream is the ship’s Wi-Fi, cheaper than Disney, still a daily bill — about $18–21. An MSC cruise eSIM is the phone that keeps working between Barcelona and the sea day. Don’t replace a laptop week with a phone plan and then complain about Netflix.
Yacht Club often includes a better slice of ship Wi-Fi. Keep it on the laptop. Put GigSky on the phone you take into Civitavecchia, so you’re not sharing a cabin login on the pier.
World Europa, World America, Seascape, Meraviglia
World-class and Seaside-class are the ships people find. World Europa lives in the Med. World America is the Caribbean sister. Seascape, Seashore, Meraviglia, Euribia, Divina — search the word on your card. Older MSC names are the ones that go quiet.
“MSC eSIM” is not a ship list. The GigSky search box is.
Mediterranean or Caribbean
Med: Cruise & Europe. Caribbean: Cruise & Americas. Don’t mix them. Barcelona, Rome, the islands, then a sea day — that’s why one plan beats a Spain eSIM plus hope.
North Africa is the asterisk. Check Tunis, Morocco, or whatever the itinerary actually calls. If it isn’t on the country list, you’ll know before you pay. ESIMDUDE is 10% off. That’s the MSC eSIM coupon.
When ship Wi-Fi still wins
Streaming in the cabin on a cheap Stream day-pass can still make sense. Don’t replace a laptop week with a phone eSIM and then complain about Netflix.
When the MSC eSIM wins
You want one plan for the sea day and the city. WhatsApp, maps, a little work. That’s the MSC cruise eSIM. ESIMDUDE takes 10% off.
