Updated 17 October 2026. Wi-Fi prices are typical 2026 rates. Type your ship in the GigSky app before you pay.
Windstar Wi-Fi. Windstar Wi-Fi is not in the basic fare. It comes inside the all-in pack: $99 a person a day if you book it at least five days before you sail, or $109 a day on the ship. That price is Wi-Fi plus drinks and tips, not Wi-Fi alone. A week is about $693 a person. A cruise eSIM is the cheaper phone if you will not drink.
Windstar sells a choice. Cruise only, and you pay as you go. Or the all-in fare, $99 a guest a day, booked at least five days before you leave. That $99 covers Wi-Fi, select beer, wine by the glass, cocktails, and tips. If you wait and buy the same pack on the ship, it is $109 a day.
Do the maths before you tap it for the internet. Seven days at $99 is $693 a person. Two people is about $1,386. That is a drinks bill with Wi-Fi attached. If you will drink every day, the pack can make sense. If you only want WhatsApp, it is a silly way to buy a signal.
There is no printed “Wi-Fi only” day price on the public page. If the ship offers one, the number in front of you is the one that counts. Do not assume a $35 rumour. The ship Wi-Fi still stops when you walk off, pack or no pack.
Buy the pack only if you wanted the drinks
Five days before sailing is the cutoff for the $99 rate. After that you are looking at $109 on board, if you still want it.
A phone that only needs mail and maps does not need a cocktail package. That phone is the eSIM. The cabin film, if the ship Wi-Fi will play it, is the pack.
The sailing ships and the Star ships
Type the ship. Star Pride, Star Breeze, Star Legend, Star Seeker, Wind Surf, Wind Star, or Wind Spirit. Star Explorer is the next one. It is not the ship to search until it is on your ticket.
A Mediterranean week wants Cruise & Europe. A Caribbean week wants Cruise & Americas. This is not Princess and not Celebrity. If GigSky does not list the ship, stop. Maya is the backup, code ESIMTWEAKS10.
When ship Wi-Fi still wins
Buy the $99 pack if you wanted the drinks and the tips as well as Wi-Fi. Buy it before you sail. On the ship it is $109.
When the Windstar eSIM wins
You will not use the drinks, and you still want WhatsApp at sea and maps in port. That is the Windstar eSIM. Code ESIMDUDE is 10% off GigSky. It does not discount the $99 pack.

Windstar eSIM FAQ
How much is Windstar Wi-Fi?
It is bundled. The all-in fare is $99 a person a day if you book it at least five days before you sail. On the ship the same pack is $109 a day. That price includes drinks and tips, not Wi-Fi alone.
Is Windstar Wi-Fi included?
Not on the cruise-only fare. It is included when you buy the all-in pack. A week of that pack is about $693 a person.
Which Windstar ships have the pack?
The pack is a fare, not one ship. Search Star Pride, Star Breeze, Star Legend, Star Seeker, Wind Surf, Wind Star, or Wind Spirit.
Does a Windstar eSIM work at sea?
A normal travel eSIM dies about 12 miles out. A GigSky cruise plan works on ships GigSky lists, then on local towers in port. Search the ship by name.
What is the Windstar eSIM coupon?
ESIMDUDE. Ten percent off GigSky cruise and ferry plans. It does not discount the Windstar all-in pack.
