How much is Wi-Fi on a cruise in 2026?
The table above is the short version. Some lines put Wi-Fi in the fare. Viking does. Regent does, and Seabourn’s basic pack does. Saga, Explora, and the Ritz-Carlton yachts do too. Hurtigruten and Havila do, on the coast. HX includes Starlink and blocks films. Windstar hides Wi-Fi inside a $99 drinks pack. Carnival, Disney, Royal, Norwegian, and MSC still sell a day rate. A family of four on those ships is where the bill gets silly.
UK ships are their own habit. Fred Olsen is £63 for a week, one device, and films are blocked. Ambassador is £8, £10, or £15 a day, and the cheap pack is messages only. Marella sells a pot of data, from £20, and it runs out. Mein Schiff gives you a tiny free pot on some fares, then you buy more. None of it walks down the gangway.
The family-of-four trap
Carnival Premium at ~$25 a person is $100 a day, $700 for a week. Disney streaming is $49 a device. Royal VOOM for two phones on a 7-night sits around $280–390. Do cruise ships have Wi-Fi? Yes. Is it a bargain? No.
